That is probably because post no 1 does not have any info/links etc! so the info is everywhere in this thread, I mean all over the place
are you sure you convert from home to WS by running dism /set-edition or by simply using WES tool by @s1ave77 ? apparently not if i go by what you showed on your last screen.
I used the DDU downloader to download AIO build of 16278.1000 I used DDU-ISO to convert to ISO. I used the WIM switcher to convert "core" to PFWS I used PowerISO to remove the old Install.wim with the new converted Install.wim Installed 16278 without a key Once booted up entered the key I previously mentioned.
it's not the case from the last screen you posted, if you had converted to WS using WES correctly, when running the command "dism /online /get-currentedition", it would have been "professional Work Station" that should have appeared instead of "professional" so that proves that you didn't do the conversion to WS from Home.
yes that's the tool i was referring to (WES) you need to know that not all the home versions allow to upgrade to WS if i'm correct, 16278 version allows to upgrade to WS. which win10 home version did you use ?
I am going to start over and use the DDU downloader to just download Home and not a AIO. Maybe that is where the issue lies?
yes exactly, that's what i was about to say, download only home edition and it should work. Good Luck. Edit : but it should logically have worked with 16278 AIO as well, don't know what you did wrong.
It's a txt file, just copy paste the txt here and use code tags. The attachment is not found and the one which works is not readable. It states: "Possible license switch". So it's not he WES created install.
Code: Other Notes: - Possible Edition switch detected.
