Last screen shot shows associated with my IS account. And this shows activated.

That's not HWID/Digital License but retail activation by key.

 

But its associated with my MS account therefore HWID is on cloud

 

Nope, the HWID is not on cloud, there is no HWID activation performed.

 

Sense it is associated with MS account will I be able to upgrade thru MS update? Guess time will tell

 

two builds ago you could not log in to MS account. Activation would switch back to pro. So something has changed. Maybe MS is starting the path to HWID activation protocol

 

If system is activated by HWID the Settings will show 'activation via digital license'. Yours shows normal Retail activation .

It was possible with 16257.1 (and .1000 too), it only doesn't upgrade on the insider settings.

 

In build 16353 Edition was renamed to 'Pro for Workstations' .

 

Online activation with default retail key still works .

Sticking with Pro WS RS3 until RTM. Then may switch to RS4. Isn't fall creators update suppose to boot RTFS?

I'm confused, if you previously had Pro only and was activated, how can the Pro for Workstation be activated just by entering one of the default keys using HWID? it's a diff. OS edition

 

Good question. Interestingly the Activation Screen doesn't state 'Digital License', only says 'activated'.

 

Pro does not support ReFS any more so I kind of doubt it.

 

But does it have all the BLOAT? lol
