Hey @Enthousiast I usually wouldn't cross-post but not sure which area this would fall into just occurred to me here might be the best place since I've taken part in this discussion for a while so I'll bounce this off of you as well. Since proWS is now included as a virtual index as far as I can tell (hence the question) really no longer needs to be run through WES at all. Am I correct in that statement? And if so, is the following code that I've used in the past now the cleanest/quickest/most supported method to have the same end results as I did with RS3 and WES for CORE-->proWS = a single-index ISO image of ONLY proWS? I see proWS is now on both consumer and vlk, I assume consumer should be used to go the HWID route? Code: Dism /Export-Image /SourceImageFile:D:\WIN10\RS5\sources\install.wim /SourceIndex:10 /DestinationImageFile:D:\WIN10\RS5custom\sources\install.wim /DestinationName:"Windows 10 1809 ProWS" TIA! -WW
You mean Enterprise does not have HWID? I thought this activation technique can also be used with enterprise license?
Anyone able to help me ? I get as far as getting the iso with pro-ws sku on it install it but it never activates, If i install just normall pro my OS activates when online digital license i believe no os install right now so cannot confim what it says But steps taken have done exactly that but cannot creat the xml file either cause it will not activate https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...r-workstations-sku.74909/page-86#post-1449108
You do know we now have HWID gen tools? I can't test anymore, all my hardware has all possible hwid's by now
So wasted a s**t tone of time then trying to get it going lol, If i create iso of say 1809 install it there is a option on install to choose WS but it doesnt activate also if i enter in my retail W7 key it activates shows up as pro, But i also dont have all the stupid stuff installed either like candy crush etc isnt there So iam gueiing its like a hybrid in away So no way of getting around ey Or did i mis read what you said ? and there is away lol Cheers
yeah i dont that after i posted the reply nice little tool so upon running it select HWID and rest is history ? Also does it install anything deep like spico and other did?
