Thank you for your testing feedback manhtom & smashed. My installs w/ VMware went smooth to the almost end when VMware was "Getting devices ready" then it stalled for 30+ minutes, a client restart didn't help, still no joy after another 30 minutes so I ended up dumping the VHD both times. My Hyper-V install attempt never started. All installs attempts were in Win10 x64 hosting.
This is the copy i downloaded and installed, it works well, but Windows 10 S (Cloud) is CRAP. Code: 15063.0.170317-1834.RS2_RELEASE_CLIENTCLOUD_OEM_X64FRE_EN-US.ISO NOTES: I needed to use MegaDownloader_v1.7 to download the iso.
I have never had any problems installing a Windows 10 OS in VMware or Hyper-V either. This ARM processor OS is throwing me though. What OS do you choose in VMware for your successes w/ ARM?
Why downloading an unknown iso from a more unknown source, who knows what's inserted. You can create all ISO's you want by using the Canonical and verifiable UUP files, like i show here: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...-of-windows-10-s-availble.74362/#post-1348304 It's not ARM.
The VM is already deleted, most useless windows ever, for those who don't have to run it on their locked devices..
To the page for purchasing a Pro license, I assume. BTW has anyone here personally taken advantage of the free S > Pro 1 year (or is it just till the end of 2017?) upgrade offer, or know anybody who has? Curious to know what the exact process is.
Still playing around in this on the VMware install. I found the new 'S' desktop image (@ the usual spot) Ran the "Photos" app & noticed that it has many different edit features that b16215 has evolved past, b15063 Pro RS2 has the same thing + more edits, see images below.
