I'm sure there are many here but unfortunately Longhorn gets obsolete at least on MDL. One day it its time to bring it 6 feet under for good since it never will come to life at any time soon (perhaps it is)
Where do you see that in the picture. I am on the insider program and all I see is Fast and Slow ring.

running on a 16 gig old tablet without issues. Long install and customization but this was known before edit: is a 32 gig garbage tablet
Babes... Some of the guys (trouble makers) over at MSFN were helping me get the XP betas, the downloads were only around 500MB, but that was a lot for my Dial Up modem connection. Latter the same guys dragged me over here, although I think their called 'Mods' now. Same here just installed 10049 on a HP Stream 7, full install less than 7GB.
Longhorn is and was a preliminary phylosophy long before Vista and I can see a lot of work in that attempt to bring in a new Operating System. Roots are still there, no doubt but times have changed quite a bit though
Agreed I think Longhorn as it was meant to be would have been a real game changer, shame it became Vista.
The Windows install size is getting smaller because they are removing all the old unused files and code from windows long ago, that is well over due. This info came from Gabriel Aul, sometime ago.
