I made clean install and try again the Settings->Personalization->Colors with and without install video driver and it freeze. It happen when you choose color from "Suggested colors".
Same here indeed !! but you can go to personalization from desktop and choose a color there then it works Ps at settings turn off automatically pick a color from my background
I have crash problem APC_Index_Mismatch after installing Nvidia driver ! In buid 10051 same but with Realtek audio driver. laptop Acer Aspire 6930G > Will even not finish start any longer!
I must say I am not too fond of blue as a theme colour choice. My theme has lots of DC Comic wallpapers in rotation and many containing superman. With the theme colour matching your wallpaper, mine is usually blue. Really washes out the start menu. That is if, my start menu even opens. which on this build, is very temperamental. Guess its my own fault. Using a leaked build to upgrade an upgrade which was upgraded... Multiple times.
It's bugged. What stops you from using the desktop personalization? The new one doesn't work properly, the moment you hover a color the app will crash so you cant even select anything not to ignore there is no sliders or anything just predefined colors... so a lot less customization than on the desktop panel.
Anyone else experienced "Windows Shell Experience Host" gobbling up memory and cpu on this build? Rebooted my laptop, and after 10 minutes, realized everything was going pretty gosh darn slow. Turns out this process was using 30% of my CPU and over 3GB of RAM and climbing. Ended the task and it started itself again. Now running at less than 10% cpu and around 120mb RAM. My Mail app closed when I killed the task, so I don't know if that's related, or just closed due to it being part of the process, but not the problem.
Wow... over react much? I asked if anyone else had experienced the same thing. I Want to know if its the build, the upgrade, or my setup. If you cant provide anything useful to the discussion, don't reply. EDIT: Its bloody obvious that I wasn't moaning. I was discussing a potential bug in this build... This thread is entitled "DISCUSSION...(10056)". Please tell me how what I posted, does not directly correlate to the thread title.
no problem bro feel free to discuss.. personally that build is really bugged for me... not as usable as 10049. Thats why those non official non public builds land on my esxi host and only public builds get to see my everyday work hardware.
I am using leaked 10051 build now, what can I do in order to update to 10056? I wouldn't want a clean install, so is there any way to "update" to 10056 version? Is it just through the upgrade method using the ISO?
. Yeah, its pretty buggy. Im a glutton for punishment though. So sticking unsafe stuff on my everyday usage device is what I do. That being said, the bugs in this build, do make me sometimes wish Id stayed on 10049. But onwards and upwards. Dont moan about something which you blatantly caused yourself! Just to add to my previous posts, There is definitely a memory leak on my device with the Windows Shell Experience Host. Its back up to 800MB and I haven't done anything on my laptop aside to using firefox nightly.
