I'm seeing the same thing after a clean install of build 10056 leaked iso. Maybe a microsoft error since the update wouldn't download.
Or consider using a MICROSOFT Mouse Driver (or their Mouse and Keyboard Center). No - I'm not kidding - unless you have a multi-button Logitech mouse or rely heavily on SetPoint , M&KBC works a treat - even though technically it shouldn't. I dropped SetPoint (Logitech V220) due to too many errors and bugs with SetPoint - and I've used M&KBC ever since.
That's true! Just on Windows Update it still shows 10061 (with error for download and install, of course!)!!!
I have to agree with you guys. I'm using Server 2008R2 because its the stablest OS available....plain and simple.
Did some testing.. Windows Update and Insider Hub apps will display build 10061 as newest only if you're logged in with MS account. If you're using a Local account, WU and Insider Hub don't see this build. And, of course, you still can't install it.
Yes, it says that directly. But indirectly it means, 10061 not coming to Insiders, only for Msft developers.
I don't really expect to see a worthy successor to Win7 until its extended support is close to an end.
