    Lol, retried installing and it looked like it was working... and is now redownloading the whole update.

    Looks like this is just a glitch.

    Skype for desktop doesn't let you login if you're using a Microsoft account. It's probably something to do with spartan/IE

    Guys is there really a chance that one can pull an .esd file out of Windows Update or this is out of question?!

    Well we do have the .ESD file, it's just a case of decrypting it.

    I say "just a case" as if that's an easy thing to do though...
