Yeah, well when I get to the "Boom start the install" part it just bypasses the USB and reboots to the next bootable device. If I use any other software to burn the ISO to USB, such as "Windows 7 USB Tool" it just works. Rufus probably does not like SanDisk Extreme drives.
10049 has been a buggy POS for me. Can I do an upgrade from 10049 to 10056 and still be able to upgrade to the next official build, or will I have to do a clean install after? Don't feel like doing a clean install until RTM.
It seems that nobody has installed 10056 yet. I have 35 minutes left. When I include installation it will be 45. Long time ...
Yes, but you can unpack it and just run the setup.exe from the folder something like poweriso does when you open the iso file. Which im doing right now to install 10056. updating as i speak.
Yeah, I think maybe it is FAT32 that breaks it for me. Windows 7 Tool uses NTFS and my computer always boots it afterwards. But I like trying new software to make the bootable disks.
well if you want UEFI aka non legacy use GPT and fat32 that way you have much better compatibility for a newer os
