I used on that HDD the MTK on 9841 once, but that HDD were formatted already. I was try Office16 once on 9926, but worked. I'm just not sure if I used to Low Level Format that HDD after Office were installed and activated with MTK because later on, beginning with 9881, those other Builds of W10TP I upgraded all of them and not formatted that HDD again.
well the same issues continues....as in 10036 if u upgrade no lose your audio....i try to install the driver manually it will not let u 10041 is s**t!!!!!
Ok will try that once I get back to my computers. I noticed all full screen apps are doing the same thing on that display so either its the new build or the new amd drivers. Might have to test different drivers again. Thanks
Have anyone tested if the Creative X-Fi drivers will work with this build? It was working with the first Tech Preview, but not the second.
Well I am having issues with my Creative Recon3d. If I restart, windows, I have to go into services. The windows Audio services tries to start but just hangs. I have to manually stop and restart it then start the creative audio service and all is fine. This issue did not exist prior to this build. I can't say if that is the same issue you have or not, but it is a creative ones.
Still having the issue with Metro apps resolution being higher than my actual laptop resolution. Began in 10036, upgrade has not resolved it. Store, Remote desktop etc, all flow off the bottom and right of my screen, therefore they are all pretty unusable... Anyone else having this issue and know how to sort? EDIT: Oh, also no Cortana. I am in UK and all settings are UK.
As someone who has/is running both, I can tell you there are changes and differences. Therefore, its more than just a rename...
Show Hidden icon dont open in taskbar Calendar did not change All the rest looks to work. Strange way to open apps in menu but have to get use to it. excel, word, PP preview now work but I got some DLL crash sometimes Where is spartan?
I believe I recall another user mentioned this early on with this 10041 build as well, but I can confirm that 10041 has altered my partitioning as well. I had initially done a clean install with 10036 and have upgraded now to 10041. The partitioning change has happened during upgrade to this current build. It shrunk my Windows partition to make room for an increased Recovery Partition of 450 MB. I assume this most likely only affects UEFI systems.
Can someone help with this?Again get this error when try to launch a game like on 10036?What is debuger?
A debugger is used by developers to correct errors in their programs. It creates detailed output of the program that is targeted to debug !
Interesting, after using Chrome with Windows 8 compatibility mode I have noticed a bit of a performance hit. It fixes the Chrome UI bug which is great. But for some reason it's got a performance hit to it. When I remove Windows 8 compatibility mode, Chrome is fast again. Even simple things like opening the New Tab page is noticeably slower with Windows 8 compatibility mode checked. Have you noticed this as well?
