There is only one Titanium HD. That Recon 3D is software realtek parody... not a EMU20K, they are not comparable. These things were fixed, if you simply have no audio, put the PC to sleep and wake up, again it will create missing registry items.
DON'T do this in power shell "Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers | Remove-AppxPackage" in Windows 10. Everything will stop working, the start menu will be removed.
That's because we can't test clean installs yet. We won't know until we can test clean installs with real ISOs (as opposed to converted ESDs) - however, it DID show in clean installs of 10036 (the second part did - the first phase in both 10036 and 10041 upgrades - including from 10036 - is unchanged). Still, I'm seriously liking the new OOBE.
No - it is not. You may be thinking of the motherboard-built in version (which IS based on Realtek-based hardware). The Titanium HD (which the Recon3D replaced) uses a different audio GPU altogether. And the bug I am referring to IS in the EMU 20K, but does NOT affect the PCI Express version of the GPU (and hence not the Titanium HD). The bug is a hardware address flaw and ONLY affects the PCI version. Also, you have to be running an x64 OS (or an OS that supports PAE) AND have 4GB or more of RAM. The Recon3D and later use the SoundCore audio GPU - the direct descendant of (and replacement for) the EMU20K; unlike the EMU GPUs, no PCI-bus version exists. (It only appears in PCI-Express and USB.)
To fix for the ""An unexpected error occurred" in the NIC properties just open Power Shell in admin mode and copy and paste this: $data = netadapter ethernet|select interfaceguid, pnpdeviceid sp "HKLM:\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Network\{4D36E972-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}\$($data.InterfaceGuid)\Connection" -name PNPInstanceId -value $data.PnPDeviceID Source: Rafael Rivera @WithinRafael
I s'pose I could of listed the full specs of my sound card but did not see that necessary. My recon3d is PCIE ( sound blaster recon3d fatal1ty professional) I also, have onboard as well as an additional USB sound card. The issue as I stated the windows audio service when you start up...just goes to starting and never fully starts. Since the Window's Audio service never fully starts...none of the dependencies start. IE the creative audio service. This issue has only been present in this Win 10 TP build. I posted my solution not for some to blast the particular hardware but to possibly help them with a work around. As that is part of why we are here...to help others. I will post the workaround again if anyone needs.

Excellent, thank you for sharing. It's time like this when we wish we had someone like s1ave77 around. I can't even imagine the amount of time and work that he used to put into compiling those build info/detail/work-around Repo threads containing all of the discoveries, issues and work-arounds for each build. Much respect for s1ave77.
