im running IE firefox and chrome no issues with slowing down.....if u testing win10 in older hardware that can be the issue to much work load on a old CPU.
I have the same directory...This happens when you upgrade from an earlier build, and apparently doesn't happen when you do a clean install. It's kind of weird, though--but I think this happens in case you want to back out of the update. Also, I went the internal update route this time instead of making an .iso and then upgrading, so maybe that has something to do with it, too...I have seen it before in an earlier build--can't remember which, though
I installed internally today...instead of as I usually do with an .iso, and the install went perfectly (took a long time, though as it was an upgrade versus clean--still almost two hours is ridiculous because I hardly had anything at all installed to carry forward and the last clean install I did took about 25 minutes...! Going clean from now own until the release version ships!) But I had the same problem with my Realtek driver--I could not install it either from my hard drive *or* through Windows Update as RealTek and Microsoft today released a new WDM driver through WU for 10041--it kept timing out. Never seen a driver install do that--indeed, Microsoft said that this was something relegated to "low power" systems--not so, as I have anything but a wimpy system... Anyway, I took Microsoft's advice and increased the driver timeout from 300 to 1800 and tried again, also turning off Defender as advised, and the driver finally installed on the first try. However, something is still really buggy here as it took an inordinately long time to install. By contrast, the AMD gpu update to the 15.2 WDM 2.0 beta driver (for D3d12) was installed without any added delay at all--didn't even notice it, in fact. Everything else has been working fine with this build, though...
if that did not work u have to reset your hardware.....and it will fix it option two remove everything and re-install windows........it sucks it takes about 2 hours.
No way im doing that again, I will fix it manually... Edit: yeah it worked manually, went to the acer site and downloaded the driver.
Same problem here, after to restart, the Realtek High Definition Audio driver is gone, its available in Windows Update, if I continues the install will result same thing. And drvinst.exe is using 40% of cpu for a loooooong time after the boot, machine is very slow. Any suggestion is welcome.
Why my HDD are stoping an starting every 5 seconds on this build. Anyone has this issue? Whe I'm looking for something on my HDD it turns on an I can hear that sound, but after that Windows turns it off.
It's impossible to change start menu to start screen in build 10041 (with registry). Someone notice about that ?
