Indeed, this feels like the fastest Windows build EVER.

After some initial troubles with Nvidia Optimus, I seem to have struck the correct settings. Been running it for 2 days, 10 hrs a day: 3DS Max, Maya, Photoshop, Google Earth.... all at the same time.

    Works terrific!

The current ESD Decryptor now does the job swimmingly on ESDs - you can now convert ESDs to ISOs in a single pass, then do what you need with them using your software of choice.

If you want to test your finished ISOs, use your favorite VM software to create a VM for such testing. (Either VMWare Player or Oracle VirtualBox works great for this, if you don't/can't use Hyper-V.)

For that reason, it's getting added to my toolbox.

Open Task Manager --> kill Search process --> restart your system. Should work okay after doing that.

I downloaded both the 64 bit Pro and Enterprise US versions from the Wzor links and neither the v4c or v4f decrypter worked. I also tried using NTLite Free and couldn't get it to work either.
I didn't have any problems using the two decrypters on BOTH the install.esd files I got from trying two separate upgrade attempts. So Now Two Upgrades and Six Fresh Installs, (three each from each install.esd) and I Still Can't get Search to let Me put a "This PC" Icon on My desktop  Search will find things like Show Common Icons, Just Refuses to access them.

So, the normal method of right clicking on the Desktop > Personalize > Change desktop icons > and putting a check mark in the "Computer" box is NOT working for you to put a "This PC" icon on your desktop?

Strange ? It worked first time this morning. I must have tried 20/30 time last night.

Agreed, Both my Windwos 8.1 PC and Laptop use a Local Account, using an MS account as nessacary on Metro apps.
But as you say, in 10 alot more features complain or fail without an MS account and most won't let you login on an App by App basis. :(

I still have 'half' a Hotmail account that was screwed by Microsoft's robots locking the account over a stupid (Stag Night) photo my phone auto uploaded to a 'Private' folder on Skydrive. Had to Kill and reset my phone (Windows Phone 7), Move my Zune and Xbox accounts. And cancel my CC as I couldn't move it from that account as I didn't have enough permissions, due to the lock. o_O

I can't be the only person with more than one Hotmail/Live/Outlook accounts that I use daily. And yet Windows 10 is making it impossible to use them. Without having multiple logins for myself on the same PC.

    Ha Ha...
I pretty much find the Metro apps un-useable even when they do fit the screen. :p

But, yeah its annoying when you can't get to half the controls or see half the text.

I'm a Creature of Habit. I only use desktop on Win 8.1 so I'm used to just sliding My mouse to the right and hitting search to get to everything like Paint, Word etc. Probably a Bad Habit and there's easier ways to do things. I'm just an old Dog that has a hard time learning new tricks :weep:
