Anyone else having a problem on the superior edge of Chrome when going fullscreen? It seems that a couple or pixels are lost, like there's more screen that I'm not seeing. Thanks. EDIT: Screenshot added.
Start Button keeps getting fubar. Right clicking works but nothing else. Cortana not working as well. Upgraded from the last leak. Any one experiencing this on a fresh esd > iso install?
I don't have any start problems at all Cortana is broken atm typing in search works but talking to her doesn't, I fresh installed 10036 off usb and installed 10041 right after.
After deleting Windows.old, I was wondering why I was still low on space. It turns out that there is a new 10GB directory called c:\RecoveryImage. It contains about 8GB of drivers and 2GB of install.esd. (Edit: I should have said "newly huge": I swear it wasn't close to double digits before.) Is that weirdly ironic coming two days after the article that declared no more recovery images? Is this actually the new way?! I'd rather delete it.
I am also having this problem. =/ Update: You can fix this by enabling Windows 8 compatibility mode in Chrome executable.
Updating from 9926 via Windows Update fast ring. download was ok but there were problem installing / error 0x80070005 I also tried subinacl.exe and reset.cmd with any success
No C:\RecoveryImage here, but I have got almost 3GB of $Windows~BT and 12GB of Windows.old Not good on a device with only a 32GB emmc drive, and thrers no sign of any compression on the C:\ <edit> Just seen theres a new 450MB Recovery Partition added too, no wonder theres no room left </edit> Also anyone else got a problem with the text in the Settings app being way to big ?
when I try to get this build with windows updates its giving me 9926 and not this build. Is it supposed to do this?
I'm getting a bug where log in screen is missing, there's just the color splash and nothing else. Insider blog had info regarding a known issue regarding it but the suggested workarounds only allow me to use the lock screen buttons, ie power button, internet, and accessibility. I did have the new lock screen enabled in 9926 through a registry edit, but going back and disabling it now brings up a "please wait" screen for the lock screen. I can still access the desktop through safe mode but all the XAML stuff prevents me from accessing start menu and taskbar utilities (notifications, clock, sound, etc). Suggestions?
Hmm, my Chrome has been like in your screenshot for many years now. When I go full screen all that wasted space above the tabs get put to good use and cut off like it should be. Start Menu is working flawless here, and I spent an hour talking to Cortana. Perfect replies from her, and no hesitations with her responses EXCEPT when I asked her her age, she then got shy. However, she was NOT shy when I asked her to sing to me. lol I can't seem to find anything broken yet, at least not anything I need to work. Even my multiple monitor setup is working much better then usual. I'm totally thrilled with this build.
Yes same here , if the taskbar isn't at the bottom the network flyout opens in wrong place or doesn't open at all What region and format settings are you using ? Seems to me that they only got US localization working good , others seem a bit dodgey. I had quite a lot problems before with start menu and apps when i had region and time/currency format in my language, now when i did a reinstall with full US its been running without issues. Only have time zone and keyboard settings in my language.
I'm sorry, what I meant was, the first screenshot is how it should look. This is how it looks in Build 10041: The space above the tabs is missing, and I can't fix it, it's only happening with Chrome 41.0.2272.89 Thanks
Hmm, that is how mine has always been, even on Windows 7 it looks exactly like that to me. It only adds the top wasted space when I drop out of full screen mode. What happens if you drop out of full screen and then re-size it to your liking?
