so far so good.....looks very stable.

I got it right here at MDL, but I am not sure is the same thing or not.

 

Just completed the upgrade to 10049 from 10041, no problems, very stable.
Just one thing to report (and it shouldn't come as a surprise), we are now forced to use the new WU UI, as the old UI and code has been completely removed!

 

if keep do that probably till end of april they have few more build or i make mystake

What's new in the Windows 10 Technical Preview 6? (DEVELOPING)

Windows will update from version 10.0.10041 to 10.0.10049 after launching this update.

Internet Explorer

- IE will be replaced by Project 'Spartan' as the default browser
- The Edge render engine will be removed from Internet Explorer
- IE will be reset back to version 11.0.9600

"Project Spartan"

- "Project Spartan" is a new browser to replace Internet Explorer as the default browser
- Edge replaces Trident as a render engine
- You can now draw on web-pages
- Comments can now be added to web-pages (like Office)
- Reading Mode is now build-in for desktops
- Reading List is now build-in
- Cortana is now build-in

And further

- IE is no longer a default pinned item on the taskbar and is replaced by "Project Spartan"'s globe icon

 

one more time the modern applications are not working.
I am not sure they will get it right sometimes.....Incredible.

 

Ugggh...glad you guys are having luck with it. Start button does nothing when I click it. Search Box is glitched on screen. Spartan is DOA.

I activated the hidden admin account, and everything is just fine and working wonderfully there (exception of Spartan, appears you need to be logged with a MS account to use it).

guess I will just download the esd and give it a fresh install since my user account is borked.

 

HA I am glad I read the blog...and actually payed attention, had this happen on my first restart.

Same here but I did the upgrade...thinking that has something to do with it not reverting.

its not reset the actual version that ships with windows 10 "the exe version is" 11.0.10049

microsoft made many changes to the ie codebase to improve speed etc i dont think it will revert back

when microsoft says ie reverts they mean it reverts back to old rendering engine not old version of ie11 that shiped with windows 8.1

 

Project Spartan issue: Favorite Bar when you add the bottom is cut off.

After a couple of reboots Spartan started working fine for me.

Also new App( at least for me) BIO ENROLLMENT when you click the windows button and then all apps. WILL NOT OPEN THOUGH. Guessing Biometrics app.

 

Anyone else find that it takes longer to update to a new build than it does to do a fresh install?
