I've posted xdeltas (just 16.2 MB) to convert the encrypted ESDs to decrypted ones, but the post was deleted, don't understand why?

You can get the encrypted ESDs real fast from Microsoft servers.

I don't know which part of draken's post violate MDL rules, but I think that was a good thing in the sense that hundreds of users had already downloaded the non-decryptable esd which was leaked yesterday (from official microsoft servers). So the users had to only download a 16 MB file to convert the non-decryptable esd to the official esd released by MS. It was a boon for people like me with low bandwidth, who otherwise would have been forced to download another 2.5 GB esd or 3.5 GB iso. Thank God, I grabbed the method before it was removed. And yes, the method did work and I did manage to convert the earlier esd to WU esd (checked the file hashes) and converted the same to iso.

I bypass the lock screen (haven't seen it once this year), so I wonder how that could be related.

My main problem though is how to unhide scheduled tasks. Only the MS ones are visible. The other ones still run, however (originally, I thought they were deleted). There must be a trick to it (Scheduler is set by default to "show hidden tasks," so it's not that). The only historical thread I've found on such a phenomenon--with a solution--is when the machine name changes, but that has not occurred here.

I've just tested x64 xdeltas and they worked fine for me! had just to rename the output (decrypted) esd to avoid "overwrite" message..

It's definitely linked to the new logon screen, as I haven't had the issue in 2 weeks now since I disabled it on 10056.

    Same to you. Don't Judge.
FYI, He has not updated it yet. Post the link to "official" ESDs, you're talking about.

Those files that are linked can be used with the RSA key for the previous builds.

I could link them, but Mods already deleted all posts having links. Use Google to search the file name.

It's not Paul's mistake though. The OP of this thread should have mentioned this on first page. He's not maintaining the thread quite well.
