Well, yeah, because we are talking about desktops. Linux has the great majority of servers everywhere. Heh, I bet MDL is running on top of Linux. Or smartphones, Linux also has majority (or anything UNIX based, including iOS) So...for now I'll keep playing CSGO in my Arch Linux box
Maintenace Activator Task Recently I ran powercfg /waketimers and I received the following response: Timer set by [SERVICE] \Device\HarddiskVolume2\Windows\System32\svchost.exe (SystemEventsBroker) expires at 2:54:58 AM on 10/18/2014. Reason: Windows will execute 'Maintenance Activator' scheduled task that requested waking the computer. I cannot find any information regarding the Maintenance Activator task. I suspect that it is part of Windows 10 Automatic Maintenance but I cannot find any reference to it in the Task Scheduler. It should appear in the Active Tasks list but it does not. I found nothing from running schtasks /query. Has anyone learned anything about the Maintenance Activator task?
Don't know, they've not done it before. I imagine it will have either an update notification or an automated process that gives the user no option. I *hope* they give the user the option of when to install it, but I've heard rumors that you have no control over that.
I hope they do a drastic overhaul in the multi desktop interface. Launching apps in different desktops is problematic at best. There needs to be more clear separation between the desktops on many different levels that you just don’t see in this current build.
