I only have one file named AM_Delta.exe in the 'install' folder. The file I am downloading is in the third folder.
Sorry for the confusion. The "Install" folder is actually a folder with a long name (mine is "90e20608895b69e99c2e15487a65d780"), created inside "c:\windows\softwaredistribution", it is not the one actually named "install"
With a vertical taskbar on build 9860, does the start menu still cover the task bar? With a vertical taskbar on build 9860, does the start menu still cover the task bar? Or have they finally fixed it so it opens beside the taskbar?
Thanks for letting me know. I imagine it is "by design", but it seems incredible that they would want to design it that way. It obscures the taskbar, which is ridiculous.
build 9860 and the new Microsoft Office Did I read somewhere on this forum that when you updated from 9841 to 9860 it would also update your Microsoft Office to the next version?? If not, sorry for this post. If true, this is what happened to me. It updated to 9860 then I installed the three additional updates found here. Then the installer for Office came on, on its own. Said it was checking my configuration. Then that screen went away. Rebooted per the update instructions. The OS and the updates finished installing without error. Went to Outlook to verify the new version and it was still the previous version. If it DID download it with the 9860 build, where would it be so I could update it manually??? If not, I apologize for wasting all of your time reading this... TIA Bill
It is done, Sir. My old Control Panel is intact. I have to re-install my system touch-pad driver for multitouch. The Action Center is empty and it seems nice where it is located. I am still in the process of exploring the new Preview Build 9860.
[SOLVED] I can't install the new preview build Still getting this 0x80246017 error both on "Slow" and "Fast". Can someone help me?
