[DISCUSSION] Windows 10 Technical Preview Build 9841

u dont need to press anything. in 9841 that feature is activated already.

 

Maybe there is a registry tweak to add this feature.

 

ok the problem has been solved
someone answered my thread and solved the problem. now scroling without any click to windows is working very well.

just do this and get this feature back :

Enable this cool thing: press WIN+R, input regedit, find HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop,
find MouseWheelRouting, change value from 0 to 3. Sign out, sign in. Enjoy.

Is it working on windows 8.1 update 2 ?

It's not working for me in 9860.

Does anyone find apps crashing quite a bit in 9860? Outlook 2013 and Skype (desktop) in particular here. It's quite annoying, though perhaps expected for an interim build.

I didn't see these issues in 9841.

 

9860 Is less stable than 9841. Even the Start Screen is not show all the apps it should show.

And orhuntus81, the feature works. I didn't understand what it does before.

windows 10 explorer keeps on crashing like all the time, using latest build

 

Fresh install .. or more likely an upgrade ? Fresh install on VM (VMware tools installed) runs stable here ... so most likely a driver issue.
