Automatic Maintenance in Windows 10 has changed. In Windows 8/8.1 is was launched/controlled by the four tasks found in Windows 8.1 TaskScheduler (Idle Maintenance, Maintenance Configurator, Manual Maintenance, and Regular Maintenance) which are no longer present in Windows 10. Has anyone found any information about Automatic Maintenance in Windows 10?
Java broke and fixed OS X 10.10 detected as 10.1. The world sure as hell didn't end. MS should just say f**k all the 20 year old apps they keep supporting with hacks and bending over backwards. Besides, any business running crap that old and abandoned isn't going to buy Windows 10 anyway. They could have also named it Windows 9 and lied however they needed to using compatibility. They sure as hell don't mind calling it 6.3 in the latest MTK.
Nah, dual boot. It must be because I have a touch screen then! Good to know it's not a universal switch. This way at least there's gonna be a registry hack for changing it back.
I found out that if I use start menu instead of start screen all apps run on startup. But if someone can figure how to run apps on startup and use start screen at the same time, would be great because start screen is much more useful than start menu. Thanks in advance
you might be doomed: Joice is between Start Screen or Start Menu, no way around. Seems to me that that most wanted start-menu is kind of incomplete

Anyone else experiencing thumbnail cache deletion on each reboot? Since updating to .9860 it takes upwards to 20 seconds to load a folders thumbnails after each restart. //edit fixed this myself.
Creating the startup items you need with Task Scheduler will work, although for certain things you may need to check the Run with highest privileges box to avoid UAC prompts depending on the type program.
