Suffice to say this Build is carefully developed having in mind apps compatibility issues by placing WoW after each app at the Task Manager.
Didn't it read "32-bit" before? WoW is just another term to tell you that you're running a 32-bit application on a 64-bit Windows.
Played a bit with MPC-HC which previously caused reproduction of GDI Leak bug. The GDI leak bug / issues with explorer, is still there
LOL, it's not gone, been seeing this bug on 9888 for a week now, it's not gone, just takes longer to show it's ugly face.
Exactly my point! Meaning those apps that include 32-bit kernel mode wouldn't have issues with 64-bit OS concerning application compatibility.
well did a refresh on the latest build 9879 and got a digital signature could not be verified on winload.efi. hmm anybody know how to fix it?
I mean to say. Why would you have to activate it with Windows 8.1 key? When people did that in the past it presented them with Windows 8.1 with Windows 10 Technical Preview's look.
I have noticed that the new build setup only let you choose between keeping nothing and personal files only I think because i'm on enterprise !! Update: Got it the download version is core version Greetz base
Installing an 8.1 key will not change Win 10 to Win 8.1 lmao You think a simple product key would physically delete all the code changes that MS made to Win 10 and revert it back to 8.1? Ummm, no.
Okay. I never used the word 'change' in the first place. If you looked at the Windows properties you would find out it's Windows 8.1 or Windows 8 after doing the activation with Windows 8.1 or 8 product key but every other thing about Windows 10 Technical Preview remains. I hope you understand what I am talking about this time around.
Seriously, most gamers I have come across didn't complain about steam having issues on Windows 10 Technical Preview. They said it worked better than in previous Windows operating systems.
