abbodi1406 yes i know, but what is this setting for ? Code: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\DWM] "OneCoreNoBootDWM"=dword:00000000 Warning don't change 0 to 1 unless you want to boot to black screen. Is it going to be used to block OneCore systems or will it be used to bring back a classic theme ?

I think I have to jump in here and ship what I feel are the right answers to your questions. When we say stable we mean in the sense of encountering errors while trying to carry out your Windows operating system activities. The Keyboard backlight not working at all is not restricted to Build 9888 as we are quite aware of - also there is the same problem with the previous Build 9879. In other words, the freezing, BSOD, very slow file explorer and cleanmgr responses and other little annoying errors are not so common with this present build. To conclude it all, I would say no, it is not. There is a lot of areas where it has proved to be better in handling your works than the previous build 9879.
My understanding is that the nomenclature has already be treated as 'Consumer Preview' by Windows. Even that is well spelled out in Windows blog as Consumer Preview slated for release by next year. However, any thing can change regardless of what have be put out there. What I think Mary Jo Foley talked about in the naming, when we were speculating on what it would be called when most of us said it's going to be Windows 9 only to see Windows 10 at the end,was not to presume as 'Technical Preview' was used at that point in time before the final announcement of the name.
I have clean, fresh installed this new build 9888 64bit and now is asking me to activate windows. I don't have a key for this. do you guys? thank you in advance
The Product Key is included inside the ISO, so no other key is needed. And it should automatically activate when installed and connected to the net.
IT SHOULD but will won't... A good way to activate it is to use a tool maded by CODY from this forum: MS Toolkit, that will activate Windows with ez ctivator option under administrator rights running.
