Has anyone else managed to find any other usages of the "metro-menus" similar to right-clicking the taskbar?
Or simply: Spoiler Code: icacls "%windir%\system32\cleanmgr.exe" /save "%temp%\AclFile" takeown /f "%windir%\system32\cleanmgr.exe" icacls "%windir%\system32\cleanmgr.exe" /grant *S-1-5-32-544:F copy /y C:\Windows\SysWOW64\cleanmgr.exe %windir%\system32 icacls "%windir%\system32\cleanmgr.exe" /setowner "NT Service\TrustedInstaller" icacls "%windir%\system32" /restore "%temp%\AclFile" del /f /q "%temp%\AclFile" although, it easier and cleaner to just desktop-link the SysWOW64\cleanmgr.exe
Yeah ... already though that could maybe done with some 'simple' batch lines ... now i have the proof you can read vibrations :flowers2:. BTW: reminds me to add to known bugs list Done.
Needs an update , would guess it will arise soon, Raffael is usually fast . Nice avatar, buddy. Perfectly fits in the pack .
I can't help feeling as if Windows 10 further alienates the desktop users as it is pushing for further metro controls. I mean I get the need for touch controls but Windows build 9888 does not seem inclined to have controls for non-touch users. Also I still hate the flat look can they at least make it more visual appealing for me lol Most of these changes are aesthetics like going from ios7 to ios8. I'm just not seeing any features that are of note.
I have 8.1.1, 9879, and 9888 on my machine. There are some I-can-see differences, and I'm sure a lot more I-can't-see differences. I get the theory of 1 OS for all devices. I look at it as my trying to use the same engine for the blender, riding mower, and pick up truck. While I'm sure it "could" be done, I am equally sure it "should" not be done. I have no problems with the builds, but I am a very light user, a few emails, some surfing, and a few posting of wise azz remarks here...
