    FLAC support is now there in Build 9901, WMP plays them flawlessly. Support for ALAC (Apple Lossless) seems to be coming (MSAlacDecoder.dll), too, but I couldn't get it to work yet.

    Problem sorted.....

    I had to first install ver 9888 and then install my drivers and then run the setup for 9901 from within windows

    I can't get Cortana to work...I'm from the UK but have set my region to the US but when I click on the search bar...and settings it shows a message of:-

    Cortana is not available in your maket

    (in a weird font)

    If I click on the mic icon - nothing happens

    That's not good, changing region trick always works on Windows Phone o_O

    Change your region location to US, it should work then

    calc.exe is no more, it has been completely replaced by the modern Calculator app. Not sure what to think of it.

    not intended to work outside US atm. Only editing region makes it work

    At least we know notepad.exe is safe, since if they were to ever remove it Microsoft would make a blood enemy of Mary Jo Foley, as that's her "word processor" of choice.
