It really helped.. thank you sooo much I changed the compatibility mode to vista service pack 2 and up till this moment no crashes
Where exactly do we change the compatibility settings? I been right-clicking on everything I install and selecting Windows 8, which I think is what I did for the Chrome install. But do we need to change the exe in the program file folder as well? EDIT: Wow, now this is where the world gets weird for me. Compatibility mode Vista SP2 completely breaks Chrome for me, all three versions of it. Only Windows 7 and 8 works. I am using the 32bit version of Chrome.
@SkOrPn right click on the program's shortcut - then Properties - choose the Compatibility tab and there you will see compatibility mode then choose vista service pack 2
Yeah, I already tried that several times. It don't work on my machine for some reason. Rebooted just to make sure and Chrome still presents a blank white page when compatibility is set to Vista SP2, or any other Vista setting. When I set it back to 8 it immediately begins working, so like I said "very weird". The only settings that work is Windows 7 and 8 for me. Did not try XP mode though. On the next build release (or Chrome 40) I may upgrade my Chrome to the 64-bit branch. The last time I tried the 64-bit branch it felt too unstable to me, but maybe its time now.
I read that Spartan browser will be ship with final release as the man in charge of the Internet Explorer section has been fired from Microsoft.
I don't think that you can get 4 Windows OSs on a single drive, since there is a 4 partition limit and system reserved partition takes up one of them.
[9901] Hi, I don't have a full screen button near top left corner of the Modern apps. It's annoying to click hamburger menu all time. How to enable this button? I saw it in many screenshots and videos of the build. Any suggestions? I install 9901 as an update over 9888, because i haven't time to back up and restore my files.
