GUYS. PLEASE STOP CRYING ABOUT "AERO" OR W10'S THEME... THEY ARE LAST THING TO THINK ABOUT W10. NO ONE(INCLUDING MICROSOFT TEAM) GIVES A F* ABOUT YOUR OPINION FOR HOW W10 LOOKS LIKE. YOU CAN SEE IT'S RESULTS AT LATEST BUILD AND SOME LEAKED PICTURES OF JANUARY BUILD(IF THEY'RE NOT FAKE). IT JUST WORKS. IT'S GODDAMN STABLE(EXCEPT EXPLORER.EXE ISSUES AND A FEW MAJOR ISSUES AT PUBLIC VERSIONS) EVERYONE IS CRYING ABOUT VISUAL STYLE. SO? WHAT HAPPENED BETWEEN YOU AND WINDOWS 8.1? YOU COULDN'T USED THE WHOLE OS BECAUSE OF IT'S FLAT TYPED THEME? STOP CRYING ABOUT "AERO". CRY ABOUT "NEW WINDOWS STORE", "DIRECTX 12", "WINDOWS 10 FOR MOBILES", "XBOX INTEGRATION WITH WINDOWS 10", "CORTANA'S STABILITY", "SPARTAN BROWSER" OR ANY OTHER THINGS... IF YOU WANT SUGARCOATED OS, GO AND BUY A MAC.
I think this post made me want to downgrade to Vista And yes I downgraded several times from 8.1 to 7 and Vista because of the flat theme, it made me eyes hurt (I cried and bleed) The tiles make me sick, I've been sick several times from them, although I like the modern apps (I only use mail and news anyway, so the rest can go to hell) so yeah its bad, I'm just contributing and helping with the development of Windows 10, clearly many people voted for Aero, if you dont believe it see for yourself, if they ignore it then I wont buy or use Win10 cause its nothing really major or new, they should stop forcing exclusive DirectX and other apps on Win10 however, because its crap and thats the only thing making it look good, I'm not complaining but these are just my thoughts, its not broken, its stable, but I wish they would really listen, Cortana is neat, task view well I dont know, but nobody asked for those, hell even the new Windows logo is lame, and why do they refuse to add colors back to the Windows Start Button flag? are we in 1995 ? well even Windows 95 Logo was colored. I Never ASKED FOR Cortana the ho, never asked for Spartan, Never asked for XsuckBox, Never asked for DirectX12, and I never complained, I just requested a feature and I'm not the only one, It should be optional, if they don't add it in then they disrespect the contributors and their costumers and deceived them, Done.
obviously they removed aero so they could run windows 10 smoothly on a tablet, still it'd be nice to be given an option whether you wanted the flat or aero type display on a desktop pc. but ms seems to be moving towards a mobile oriented os it seems
I Agree, their latest move apparently is forcing Metro/Modern Apps instead Win32 System apps :/ They should put back an option for everything, it NEVER hurts, this will bring many users back, Options = better than nothing. Aero also can be made so it wont consume a lot of battery.
only problem with too many options is size. I don't want 2 dvd set for one OS or multiple iso's again. Those days should be gone.
They are simple options that were in Windows 7, it wouldn't need 2 discs, thats kinda silly, they should basically also provide options if the user wants Metro apps or not, if not, then they can kiss my a** goodbye, Windows 7 will always be the best, with some modding to get the latest features though xD Though I will use the Preview until the OS reaches final, see what happens.. we dont need dvd's ever again we have usb drives up to 1tb i think making a bootable usb from a super large custimizable os will be super easy lol
