Actually the original coding for (now Windows 10) when it was in pre-alpha was supposed to be Windows 9. It was a decision that was made at the last minute likely by high up the echelons in Microsoft to change it to Windows 10. In all likelhood if you dig deep enough into the coding of Windows 10 you will find reference to Windows 9.
ok, i'm one of those 400. been lurking around here since Win 7, finally decided to register. don't have much to offer except for a few comments now and then. as far as browsing this and the Win 9 thread it provides good entertainment. i'm not one of those people that join and right away they post i want, i need, or give me. i wait patiently and when it comes it comes. let me just say thanks to the powers that be for all the effort and time they take in providing these services. kinda reminds me of all those people ling up to get the newest iphone when it's basically the same as the old iphone. anyways, that's it for now, and thanks.
I ready for it. I have a drive all set up ready for windows 10 install. going to test/debug, see what works and not work. I love doing this stuff. so for eastern standard, that would be 12 noon, correct?
Hell... even facebook doesn't play videos unless you scroll down to see them. They could easily code this so that they only use a small amount of processing in the background.
