The name was certainly not on the invitations, and I guess Partners received that document during or just after the conference
I think Dev Connections edited a post they had made on April 1st 2013, to make it look like they predicted it I could go back to a forum post from 2013 and do the same
Don't know, maybe because it's only today people actually started actively linking to that stupid article. It's all very suspicious indeed, but I can't see how anyone could fake that FB post
EDIT an old post from 2013 with a link to a site made to look like it was posted 18 months before cached sites don't lie
I don't use FB so don't know if it says edited or not, but with forums you can disable that feature And if it's your own website, you can do whatever you want Maybe they asked FB to do it for them
Possibly, they were told to keep it to themselves. The confidential guide sent to partners carried the Windows 10 name, boldly written on it. Nobody was able to release the ISO for previous Windows (Windows 10) Technical Preview build images online leading to the press event. We cannot use the press event to define the validity of the 'terms and privacy policy' governing partnership with Microsoft. That is what I am trying to make you see while referring to the coincidence part.
No-one at the event knew, why would they tell everyone before hand, tell them to keep it a secret, and then tell them again during the event ? Think with your brain man, MS wanted to surprise everyone, watch the video before yabba-badda-do'ing
Let me agree it wasn't written on the invitations dispatched to those attending the press event, which is very likely to be possible. But, the Partner Guide could not have been written at the last minute and distributed to them within that short timeframe. My guess was they were aware of the name and made to follow Microsoft terms.
It is not about making sense. It is about reality of the presence of Windows 10 on the Partner Guide. The hint on Mary J.Foley's and Warren's image precluded your statement from been basically what to judge this whole matter on for those who were really aware of the name before the press event. Do you think Mary J.Foley's and Warren's signs to shut it up are for nothing?
Yea I do, have you ever watched windows weekly, or been to zdnet, or winsupersite? They dont keep secrets, they publish everything, true, rumour or otherwise Do some research Your whole theory is based on one photo....
