Try getting it from the PDF reader (mine's Foxit). File > Properties > Description and the info should be there.
If that should be the case. Why would Microsoft make a confidential guide to its partners when it was going to announce it earlier? At least, it's watermarked confidential. Is there something I am missing in the word confidential in the Partner Guide all rather Partner Guidance?
Because it contains minimum system requirements that Microsoft opted not to share publically at this time.
Because some specific information is for partners only. Partner's are a part of the eco-system. So there may be sensitive areas that should be handled on the QnA they have mentioned. May be that's the case. No biggy confidential stuff though.
Yes, I have. I have seen quite a few weekly event videos, and I am an avid follower of Mary Jo Foley articles on Zdnet website. While I might want to disagree with you on divulging sensitive information by those people is on the rumor and confidential materials don't get along quite well. We have seen the same pattern in the different build images leaked online without an iota of leaking the ISO, even up till now. Things have possibly changed with the way Microsoft addresses Windows naming and its partnership. That is to Keep to terms or get booted out. That is my simple ugly observation though.
Thanks mate but I think you are very funny. I would do that in a moment. I have been representing that Windows 9 logo for some days now.
They are press/media - when have you ever known the press to keep secrets? Their job is to reveal secrets before any other press or media manage it Why would MS tell the press their secrets and then tell them to keep it quiet Not having this retarded conversation with you any more, your argument is invalid.
1) It's standard practice for partner communications (I guess) 2) There's some unannounced stuff in there, nothing big though 3) as Scko noted, the document was created after the event (EDIT: I think it was during the event, your metadata says it was created at 12:12 PM, that's in your timezone, not San Francisco, for me it say's 19:12, which is during the event )
Not true at all. They've both had exclusives the other didn't know about with MJF usually having more. Thurrott has been known to get annoyed whenever she gets an exclusive. He makes it obvious. Whenever anyone gets an exclusive really. The guy thinks he should be told about every single freaking thing going on in the tech world. His rant over wanting to boycott IE 7 because he didn't get access to the beta when others did is proof that others have better access than him. That stunt took his credibility down and it showed a lot of people how he really is. Since then, he doesn't even try to hide it anymore. How he's even still around is beyond me. Now that's 100% truth
Yea he think's he's something special all-right - used to enjoy watching WW until I started realising what a prick he was, and how much garbage comes out his mouth EDIT - Come to think of it, iirc I had Beta access to IE7 lol, MS sent me an IE7 leather coffee mug to say thanks for testing it
To Janis up on cloud NINE Oh Lord, won't you buy me a night on the town? I'm counting on you, Lord, please don't let me down. My friends all got Apple macs, I must make amends, Posted hard all my lifetime, no help from my friends, So oh Lord, won't you you gimme the link for WINDOWS TEN?? THREE HOURS LEFT
yeah maybe the backbone is good but the GUI imho s***s. ev1 wants the start menu back and MS listened ( sort of ) that new behemoth takes up too much real estate. we can only hope it can be tweaked to our individual preferences. we should be able to choose how we like it, not MS telling us how we should like it.
