It's been a while since I've been here, hello all! Just installed 64 bit on my desktop, looking good, gonna install all my daily used software... will report back
Another change for the better: When you close a Metro app with the "X," it actually closes now. In Win 8.1, it would appear to close but merely suspend.
Is there any way to remove the Technical Preview from Windows Update? In my excitement I managed to install the 'consumer' .exe and after a reboot now the install is flagged in Windows Update and I want it gone. I've tried hiding it but it's not complying. Nothing that I can see in Programs and Features or Installed Updates that I can remove. Anyone? Thanks.
Good for you that the tools install. On Vbox, attempting to install the additions merely comes back with a "Not supported on this version of Windows" notice.
I'd pick Enterprise, no reason not to, and they seem more likely to cater to them as they are trying to win Enterprise customers back.
Installed fine in VirtualBox. Contemplating using this on my gaming PC, can anyone comment on how this runs with an Nvidia GPU and any driver problems?
yes, Windows Media Player is included with Windows 10, just as it has been in previous versions of Windows.
Just confirmed that WMC Upgrade keys DO WORK in this Preview EDIT: Will change All the branding in the OS to 8.1 Pro with Media Center. EDIT2:
