Keep in mind it's a tech preview though. Looking forward to see what Microsoft wants to show us that is worthy of calling a new iteration of Windows, Windows 10. This tech preview is quite awesome, I like the Start menu, but needing more.
So, im having a weird issue, If i try to install while booted from /sources/setup.exe it fails saying it couldnt prepare my pc for restart, if i try from USB boot, i cant install at all because it cant start the image deployment service, im re-downloading the iso but is anyone else having this issue (64-Bit not enterprise)
I'm gonna upgrade to normal Win 10 TP from my daily Windows 8.1 system, yup!, may be a stupid idea, but I'll go for it. Only thing is activation, my present system is KMS activated, I hope I don't bump into any activation issues, I wish I had downloaded the Enterprise TP. Any way it's time check it out.
You are quite right, this explanation makes more sense. So the reality is we already had Windows 9 (which MS called it Windows 8.1 LOL), and now its 10's turn.
The anticipation before first opening the iso is funny. You want it to be familiar yet better. I was 50% relieved when the structure is similar to other nt6, but 50% bummed out that it wasn't an insane difference like when i first opened the Vista iso coming from XP. Haha. I'm not trying to single you out, but i was waiting for this post. MS will never be able to please everyone. It must be terrible to want to move forward with new ideas knowing that not everyone will be happy.
I kind of like the new Window style of both Windows Explorer and IE, I mean, there is no more wide bezel around Windows (especially the horizontal edges on both sides). Kind of like what we have in Linux and Mac OS X. It looks sharp and light. quite good.
