when I tried to change the properties (change from "manual" to "automatic start") of Application Identity service from services.msc, I got an error message"access is denied". I am using a local account with Admin privilege. What gives? oh BTW, I am trying out the Enpterprise x64 version.
I'm using the Enterprise x86 version and the Store is not working: Strange because in the "normal" Technical Preview the Store works...
Huh, I'd never run across that before. What are the odds, though, that within 5 minutes of searching, I come across the reason MS introduced it and the side-effects of using that key? I just have a feeling they exist.
Not sure if I like File Explorer opening to "home". I was a big fan of the Windows 8.1 way of going to "this PC". So much so, I changed the location properties of File Explorer on every Windows 7 PC I used in my job (Network Engineer, so LOTS of PCs daily) to point to explorer.exe "" which made it behave very similar... Not sure if this is possible in Windows 10. I personally think this "home" page, is rather pointless?
Yes they can please everyone. It is called "options instead of mandates" - for instance, if I want to, I should be able to have the charms bar and metro full screen start. Or this Vista-esque start menu thing. Or Aero glass on the desktop. Or libraries in explorer. Or any combination I happen to be able to come up with.
If you upgraded maybe you don't get the watermark but I did a clean install and I also would like to remove the watermark if someone has a way. Thanks

Yep, you can either use Windows 8.1 GVLKs or Windows Beta GVLKs (Keys ending in WB2HQ for professional and ending in VMD98 for enterprise). I recommend using the Beta GVLKs because this allows a KMS emulator to recognize Windows 10 Preview correctly. If you use the Win 8.1 GVLKs it reports itself as Windows 8.1. I will update vlmcsd and kms-hgm tomorrow (need to download and test Win 10 servers which takes some time)
Understand....Still it's a little annoying, and I'm sure there is another way to find the currnet version your using maybe in registry.
Go to GPEDIT.MSC and change it Sticks after reboot, confirmed a while back in this thread. Check lusrmgr.msc - local users and groups! I have a group called "System Managed Accounts Group_ploc" - with a jibberish description.. hxxp://i.imgur.com/EGHXtUH.png Very Nice!!
I Haven't done a dual boot in a long time, Windows 8.1 with Windows 10, Created a 25GB partition Do i just boot up from a usb stick Using Rufus.
