Maybe because it's a fresh install? I haven't noticed any difference in game performance from Windows 8.1. ____ Also... is it possible to change the border width (it's set to 0?). The window looks really bad when you change the color scheme to 100% black. I tried changing the registry settings but only take effect on the top border. Speaking about color, i'm curious about how they are going to improve the start menu design, right now it's worse than windows 95 start menu.
i hate the new start menu it's a mess with all the apps and games i have so i switched back to metro instead and it's much cleaner
What the hell is this: I can't figure out how to organize this s**t, Windows 7 it was cake, in 10 it seems nearly impossible.
its an reload error.. if you change from startmenu to startscreen (modern ui view) and change then back to startmenu it should show all new installed programs
Going to metro and back does not work I cannot drag anything in to that folder, it will not allow me to.
That's just a normal term for an Preview! Never expect more than 6month! In fact, that's just an period for to give you an idea what that OS will be all about! It's free too, so don't expect anything more!
not being able to shut off auto updates is a real turn-off for me... M$ better not mess this up in the end...
Not sure what the non-OEM boot screen looks like; if you do a UEFI install and the OEM provides a background, that should still be shown (was the case on my Acer laptop).
