to super user I found that you have to drag window left and do not release mouse button and then drag windows to up and it will be up left, the same for other screen places
Are all Windows notifications in the lower RIGHT now, or is that just where Outlook 2013 decides to put them suddenly (Outlook 2013 uses Windows notifications, not its own system). Also, the Win-X menu always used to be in the lower-left regardless of where your taskbar was. Now it seems to follow the taskbar, which might make sense but isn't good for those used to it in the lower left. Any way to change it back?
I found a bug that snapped windows to left or right side of screen don't return to normal size when you unsnap them, thou if you unsnap full screen windows dragging it from top screen works normal it resizes itself properly
I had the same problem when I followed that guide, I ended up downloading the ones that Lenix uploaded (forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/57024-PRE-DISCUSSION-Windows-10/page136?p=954620&viewfull=1#post954620) and opened them with resource hacker and copy & pasting the edited text in to the en-GB ones.
Someone checked performance in games? I wonder if it's worth moving from W7 to W10 - i mostly use my laptop for gaming.
I play nothing demanding; the stuff I do play though show about the same performance. Just something to look out for if you use either in games, but FMOD and IndirectSound (DirectSound Emulation) seem to be a bit problematic.
So you were able to completly remove the watermark ? I tried resource hacker but did not find the relevant text. Do you have the Pro version and could you upload your dlls maybe or does this not work ?
change from start menu to start screen and back again. if you switch over to start screen, the default windows 8.1 "Personalize" option is there from the charms menu. But when you change something the settings will only seem to change colors for the start screen and not all modern apps if you change back to start menu. It seems like if you enable start screen, modern apps run fullscreen, when the start menu is enabled they run windowed.
I'm suspecting they haven't even touched the directx in this. It's basically a frankenbuild windows 8.1.
The new start menu is ok but they need to add the option to multiple select the tiles with the ctrl key (same behaviour as full start screen). They absolutely need to add the option to move the opened windows from desktop1 to desktop(X) with drag and drop too and the ability to multiple select if you need to move more than one window around. A per-desktop wallpaper setting would be nice too. Still experimentig, but everything seems nice! Good job so far...
