[DISCUSSION] Windows 10 Technical Preview Build 9841

Does anyone have a problem with scrolling with Windows 10? My HP Laptop touchpad scroll doesn't work in IE and Metro Apps, but it works in Control Panel and Firefox. I did go to HP's site and found a driver just 2 months old and that didn't fix it. I do see the scrolling pointer when I do it, just doesn't scroll in those apps. Thanks

Download and install Synaptic Touchpad driver for your system after uninstalling any old version of same.

No need to disconnect internet connection. When you're asked to enter Hotmail account and password, click on "create New acc" and in window that opens next select "login without Microsoft acc". That's it.

 

Yes I did that for when installing the new version didn't help. I am not sure anyone with Synaptics Touchpad having this issue? Maybe installing ontop of Windows 8.1 corrupted something?

 

I have 2 questions.
Do I need a key to install Windows 10 TP?
May "My_WCP_Watermark_Editor" work to remove watermark?

 

bet that MS combines a deleted watermark with an exploding timebomb one day and I would laugh upon it very loudly

 

There's a pid.txt to install Pro Preview.

And it is that easy to hide the watermark by using complementary desktop background color (white for black desktop and vice versa).

What is system panel showing as name for the Enterprise Preview ?

 

In case it helps, I tried the Synaptics official driver from their website instead of HP with a fresh install and still no scrolling on IE and Metro. I know it's a Preview, but was wondering if anyone solved this problem without using a USB mouse?

 

here it reads : Windows Technical Preview for Enterprise, same as in bottom right corner of screen

Sorry, don't get your point. Iirc that tool removed the complete branding strings, even the one shown in system panel .

 

Can I see your desktop screen? It didn't work on mine.
