don't know if this is related, but i had a problem with usb ports not shutting down at sutdown. no settings in windows changed it. had to go into bios and change one of the power settings. can't remember which one, but now they power off. no more lighted mouse when computer is off.

Google Windows godmode folder after you done it check inside to see if theres something for your tasting i believe there is mention of shutdown in there if not you can see the hibernation options
Windows Defender is working perfectly updated more thrice in the past 2 days of the installation of my Windows 10 and the backup is used to backup my system settings to OneDriver. If yours aren't working you need to enable them.
Defender isn't nearly as good an anti virus as Essentials and I don't backup over the net. Connection's too slow and it's not secure enough for my liking. Thanks anyhow.
Foobar defines it as this but we maybe talking the same thing, basically the scroll is lock to the pointer not the keyboard. Previous windows in file explorer you need to click the pane prior to using scroll. whole lot less clicken in file explorer Basically it should smooth out the whole OS and be easier on the brain. May be there are where the addicts are complaining. Would someone please tell me how to get rid of this search icon, in the task bar, beside the start icon? Until I see METRO completely gone I will not be purchasing an upgrade for windows 7 64 bit for the office work stations (with 32 bit win 7 vm's for running older engineering software and networked large format print drivers). M$ will never win the app market for work stations unless they buy autodesk, abobe ...... It is too old and has matured. They need to separate desk top from tablets and phones and capture that new market while not losing this one. You do not cut the coaxial and telephone lines because we have wireless. Please give us a, no appz, no fullscreen, business version. Regards
