Well, not a mistake but your solution is easier indeed. I'm still using the 9.20 version (x64) and can confirm you can do it.
How can I increase the number of start menu rows/items? Can't seem to change that, but I've seen screenshots with bigger start menus. Thanks
Change tiles sizes, drag them to right or left you can customize the tiles section similary like the Start screen
installed it ,restarted after completing all the steps ,and bios got failed ,hdd got damaged ,dont know the reason bcoz of os or hdd
one is for sure: OS does not kill mechanical parts in your PC if used properly. You faced a dramatic coincidence loosing either your PS, HDD or mainboard
Does anyone know how to stop the bleeping Start menu squares from rearranging automatically? I only have "medium" size blocks there that I want to fit in a single column. Unfortunately they rearrange automatically to always go into two columns. In other words, I'm trying to get the right half of the menu to be less wide while still using at least some medium squares.
Unfortunately, no. The tile grid is designed to behave like that. Technically, it's only one column in relation to the large one, so two medium sized tiles share the space per row.
Most clean and professional as I can get it. Again takes some time, to get rid of the fluff for kids, that I do not have when installing multiple. Will we see another business OS from M$? Regards
Not quite: I was trying to get rid of the 4 smaller ones while keeping the larger ones, but it sounds like it's just not meant to work that way, at least not yet.
