How can you possibly claim to know anything about... well, ANYTHING... if you "dont undertand any of it including how to run a power shell script..." It really sounds to me like you should stop trying to do anything with Windows 10 right now and wait for RTM. Or better still, get a Mac that doesn't have any of the that evil OneSkyDriveSteal thing.
IF you're asking that kind of question. You should just stay with what ever you have running right now. BETA testing a piece of unfinished software is not for you.
** CALM VOICE ** If you do log in with a local account, there is no syncing of anything. How could there be? It needs to sync to your Microsoft Account which you have not told it about There is no way to remove OneDrive. This does not affect you, however, as you have not provided it with a Microsoft Account to sync to. So, even if Microsoft forcibly activated it (Big Brother IS watching you, right?! ), it still is not going to sync anything Even on the off-chance your meds wear off and you see your paranoia for what it is, logging in to Windows with a Microsoft Account does not automatically sync ANY documents. You choose what gets synced. You can even disable sync of settings so that nothing is synced With regards to removing the "God awfull" modern UI apps, why bother? If you don't use them, they won't run. The brief glimmer of intelligence that stated "you can uninstall most of them but not all as some of them are part of the os" seems to answer your own question. I really do wonder if Windows 10 - or even Windows in general - is going to be in your future. The anguish it seems to cause you is nothing short of amazing.
gpedit.msc Computer Configuration Administrative Templates Windows Components OneDrive Prevent the usage of OneDrive for file storage Enabled Instructions found 3rd result when Google searching for Disable OneDrive. A 5 second search.
Remote Desktop Client Protocol is on Windows since XP times. They have been spying on you all along. .
Windows 8 has great driver support. If you there are none for 8 then there will be none for Windows 10. Edit: We are getting sliiightly offtopic here.
Will i have a mac and it has the same s**t as windows. Apple has icloud and account sync, just like windows 10. You can choose to disable or not use it just like windows.... Ya, you should not beta test windows 10. You seem not to be very tech savvy.
u need to understand this OS is for testing purposes only.....people are running this as a primary machine.....the point of all of this is to send the telemetry back to MS so they can improve the product this is what the insider program is for......u should not have any personal files in a test machine. i cant understand why people keep doing this
TechNet Evaluation Center - that's where I got my copy (which I am running in a VM on Server 2012R2, because I have no EPT i9n my virtualization lab server).
Quite frankly, you have no idea what you are on about. I think you should stay away from Windows 10, or anything technical for that matter. If you are so scared of the cloud, maybe you should delete your email accounts and close your bank account... (I could make a massive list here of things you therefore shouldn't have). All of it connects to this scary cloud thing and sniffs your data one way or another... Where do you think your details are kept for this forum right now? In the cloud. Do you drive? Because guess what... All of the details required for you to drive, are stored in the cloud.
Aside the fact that you aren't forced to use OneDrive, what is stopping your computer being hacked? Your paranoia? Your virginity? Or you ugly face?
