I installed it just fine, on my first install. My installer was already renamed, so if someone tries to install with original file name a heads up would be nice.
Takeing for ever to install. Gets stuck at checking for updates. Don't understand why that is happening. I am installing from a USB stick could that be why.
So does anyone know how to get the notification to switch to tablet mode to come up? I have a Sony Vaio Flip 14A and I have to manually switch to tablet mode in order for it to work, It doesnt notify me when I switch from tablet > Laptop or Laptop > tablet...
Still checking for updates. Should I be installing from DVD or what. Has anyone else had a problem from USB stick. I have installed the other builds from USB and never had a problem.
I decided to wait for the new builds. It seems like neither Windows 10 TP nor Paralells Desktop stable enough. Parallels Desktop keeps getting bootloop and trying to install parallels tool over and over again. It will be tough to wait but I will try to succeed.
I had to disconnect my network cable from my system to make it continue. What gives with that. On my laptop it did it without disconnecting from the internet. Did MS do something with hard wire network or what. I am at 86% already on my desktop with the network cable disconnected.
Are PIN numbers login working for you guys? I mean, I can create the PIN but I'm not given a choice to login with a PIN when the PC is lock. I can only use the account password.
It better pick up speed, I have to head out to the little woman's house before she get mad and goes to bed. Finally my system is restarting. This better be good, because so far I don't like how long it is taking to install. My desktop in a quad core with 8gigs of ram and an SSD drive. It should not take this long to install. How did everyone else find the install go for them, was it slow. Can someone let me know please.
Thanks guys, I know the 420 beta of CS is still a old build so was worried about installing it. Skaendo, what do you mean by "already renamed" ?
Maybe something is wrong? My buddy said it installed in like 1 minute from his USB 3.0 drive. It took my Sandisk Extreme like 5 minutes to install it.
Installed on a surface pro and I really like the new UI for the tablet. I see directx 12 is there now.
Some people are just whiny crybabies. They're not going to make Windows 7.2 and give it to you for free. Get that out of your thick heads. If you don't like it, don't use it.
That happened to me too, going to change the pin later and see if that will work. And if it doesn't, then i will be reporting this to MS in the feedback app.
I had Classic Shell installer laying around from previous build where they hard-blocked it from installing. Simple fix is to just rename the installer to something like Shell.exe and it will install fine.
Do the new notifications to the right open with a swipe? win+c didn't seem to work. Installed it on vmware and not my tablets so could not test that.
Just noticed my laptops built in sub flips s**t when I have it turned on (was using razer surround, decided to uninstall it which re enabled the volume on my sub) jesus christ, my ears hurt, rebooting doesn't fix it, re installing drivers even after driver sweep doesn't fix it, gonna have to stay off for now, tempted to try to put Windows 7 on this thing even though it came with 8 for funzies, until MS fixes the "issues"/"features" with the start menu. However I'm also lazy and might just deal with it.
