yes I dunno what they are thinking, you can't personalize anything on the start?!? so far for me, thank god you haven't got to pay for this, cause I see nothing of value............

windows metro apps reinstalling themselves again after unistall I have unistall many windows 10 (last build) apps... like weather, news.... When I reboot there they are again. What can I do? Or is there any way at least using linux to delete the folder where they are or something? thanks
I am also getting stuck on "getting ready / Vorbereitung läuft". German Version x64 with VMWare 11/VMwareplayer UEFI or bios mode did not make any difference. Still the same problem. What's wrong here?
Is anyone else having an issue with "Unblock" button ? When I click it , the message "This file came from another computer and might be blocked..." remains after applying "Unblock"
Might try - Change Advanced Power Settings - Hard disk - Turn Off Hard Disk After - type in NEVER. I have done this ever since I started using SSDs - have no idea if it helps your situation - just a thought.
Microsoft said they wanted to deliver an awesome build... turns out, it isn't that awesome after all, the result is quite sobering. IMO, it's not so much different than previous preview builds, it fixes some issues and introduced some new bugs along the way. Don't get me wrong, it seems it runs more stable than before, at least for me (and as long as you don't try to put it into Hyper-V), but there are still too many glitches to speak of an "awesome" or exceptional build just yet. It's just another preview, it's still far from finished, and to an extend, we shouldn't be surprised about that. There's just so much stuff you can build and integrate in a span of 20 to 30 iterations. You cannot fundamentally change the world all of a sudden, even on the fastest cadence. A lot of work needs to be done and that will take time. Plus, much of the really interesting stuff, like Project Spartan, is still not ready for primetime. Therefore, don't complain too much about it now, it doesn't help either. One could already sense from the delay between the presentation and release that they seem to be behind their schedule (or planned too optimistic), and now that it's available even before the next week appears like they kind of rushed this out of the door now.
Cortana is not available to my region I hope it will fixed in the final version I'm running Windows 10 PT-BR
Just started to use Upgrade from 9901 to 9926 from running 9901. It started to copy the new files aftedr about 10min. Would like to know how long that Upgarde will need, IF it will be done??!
Cortana work fine for me in Thailand, with set location to the US and the rest to my normal settings like GMT +7h and so on! It works fine with that settings.
