Cleanup with Cleanmgr:

Code:

Cleanmgr /sageset:1 Cleanmgr /sagerun:1

Copy codes and save as Cleanmgr.cmd then run Cleanmgr.cmd .

If anyone knows a hotkey for the Notifications window, or any way to actually launch it without clicking on the tray icon (a shortcut to what...?), I'd love to know what it is.

The reason I ask is that with a vertical taskbar, you don't actually get the icon in the first place.

Win+A = Action Center (Notifications and quick settings).

Even went so far as to do a tiny bit of training with the Windows speech recognition routines and THEY all worked as well, but even after all this Cortana still can't seem to "hear" me and it's pretty odd as well as pissing me off too.

So I wiped it and reinstalled it a second time, same basic routine of updates, reboots, enabling Cortana, enabling the use of the mic, checking levels, raising the input gain, etc etc and doing some test recordings of analogy audio input from both of the mics I have AND STILL Cortana doesn't respond.

I have no idea what's going on but it soured me enough to make me go back to Windows 7 yet once again. I really can't stand what Microsoft is doing with Windows 10 but I keep hoping one of these builds will enlighten me (in some respects) on why they're doing all this crap with their operating system.

If anyone has any other suggestions regarding getting Cortana working, I'm all ears... pun very much intended.

For the record: the mics work, it's been verified, audio levels are more than acceptable for input to be recognized - the Windows speech recognition system responds to me speaking just fine, Cortana is just deaf for me in my specific situation and I cannot figure out why. I'm in the US (Las Vegas), everything for regional settings is for US English, it's all correct and working but "she" just can't hear me and it's pretty damned frustrating.

Yes, I've had to log into my Microsoft account as well (something I really despise Microsoft forcing on people just to make use of this stuff but that's how it goes...) and it has no effect on Cortana hearing me at all.

Cortana was ignoring me but I got her to work by installing the sound card drivers for windows 8.1 provided by my hardware manufacturer. In my case ASUS.

I had the same issue and it turned out to be my Logitech "setpoint" software. I didn't know what the problem was so I reinstalled and checked every time I installed something and thats how I tracked it down. It may not be setpoint in your case but most likely a driver you installed. You can do the slow trial and error method like I did or just wait for a new build. I had to skip a build because my amd video card drivers was causing my explorer to keep resetting. Good luck.

I got the same problem of Cortana being "deaf" on my Dell Latitude E6430

EDIT:
just had to raise the volume to max and boost to max. after reboot it's working now

please win 10 9926 key for clean installation?? my old key for previous versions doesn't work! i need for italian language disk iso

this for me doesn't work... i'm online when install! XXXX-HQRJR

perhaps that key is only for update from older versions and not for full install??

i do as you tell (if a moderator order) but that key isn't mine but legal from microsoft and it is integral with windows technical preview. the rule is for legal and official key for all around world?

I've tried Windows 10 TP run in safe mode. Retrieve the subscription passwords, and there stands or. freezes.
Is there a solution or even this version does not work in safe mode.

I am having a problem with networking.
My laptop, wifes laptop and a netbook can not connect to the main system shared drives.
The main system network setting connot be changed.
Network discovery, or password area can not be chamged.
On the laptop and others you can.
Another case of wireless working fully and hard wire connection problems in this build

Is it hardwire network.
Try wireless if you can

Clear 'Turn on fast startup(recommended)' at the Power Options.

That's exactly what I suggested, raise the volume up and boost it, it works!

Hi guys. I need your help here after downloading the last build I am having a problem related to my Wireless mouse ( Microsoft
Wireless mobile mouse 1000) it is lagging I tried different drivers I changed the battery and tried a different USB port but still the same .. before this build it was running perfectly. any suggestions ?
