Neither Startup Repair, nor Refresh your PC or Reset your PC will work! Only choice left is Reinstall Windows 10 again! Will do that now and will kept my hands of from something which (need to) run with VirtualBox!
Not the only choice, make an image with, for example, Macrium Reflect after installing everything you need and the PC is running fine! When you mess things up, but back the image and you are ready where you left.

I'd been running Win TP, first Build 9841 and then later build 9879 on what is basically a stock HP desktop in dual boot with Win-7 H.P. that except for never getting a video driver to play Minecraft Never had one single problem. SATA2 MOBO, Athlon 630 , 8GB 1333 RAM, on a WD Blue 1TB Mechanical drive using the Radeon 4200 only. I'd made My 8 Year old Daughter a Outlook email account and She'd installed quite a few Win Store games. I downloaded the ISO and did an upgrade from the Desktop and the games carried over and everything looked OK. A little over a Hour after upgrade the PC became laggy and when I checked Task Manager I was downloading at My max speed and My OS continued to increase in size until I shut it down. . I restored the OS from My Clone and upgraded through the Preview Build. This time I Lost all the Games and Apps from the Store and again after running OK for a Hour, the PC started the same thing as before. I installed from the ISO on a Clean HDD, and again later installed the earlier versions and upgraded on a clean hard drive, and as above I lost My Apps and the Non-stop downloading started again after around one Hour. I can't post a pic, and I'm not sure about posting a distorted Yuq link (?) but it's something in the 16 processes running under Service Host Local System. yuq://me/users/15/703/tzS81yBWLi.p-ng *No I Can't Type
If I would follow your advice, in real it would need to do an imaging after every successful install of any single apps! that's every time an at least 40min work/time for to create the new image! And just to tell I was just on installing several apps after an clean install of build 9926! And I would use HDClone for that work, the only apps which gave me never any problems with cloning or imaging, such I had with other apps many times! My normal way is to create an WinToGo driver after the needed apps are installed. I have such for 9841, 9879 and 9901 already. That should show you that I do that already and that for years, only used Cloning and Imaging instead of WinToGo!
I installed VirtualBox 4.3.12 in both 9901 and 9926 after reading your post. In both the builds, it installed and ran fine. But as soon as I decide to reboot the system, both builds failed to boot. Any tips how to fix that?
