Yes, I know. That's not the problem. The problem is that activation fails with the above errorcode, and the watermark isn't helping either.
Clean install 9926. Activation issues seem to be an issue affecting some with upgrades. The only thing you can try is slmgr /rearm and then see if it activates after reboot.
Every time the computer boots I get about 20 errors in Event Viewer that various services crashed, is it normal? Also sometimes various programs won't start saying something about receiving bad stub, though it doesn't happen very often. Is this normal or is it because I upgraded through Windows Update from the Enterprise 8.1?
a little update: i have been streaming UE4 game dev stuff with windows 10 and have had no issues with game or anything else even dx12 is working great. now i had a issue but fixed it where the start menu stopped working and the bug got synced to my ms account so i had to setup a new sync point
Actualy it is not realy a bug !! You just have tempered the registry for updates. It is a nice tracking tool like this on which build they are but do not expect that it is gonna work outside the Microsoft network
never messed with my reg for anything all i did was install a update so ya it's a bug and was confirmed to be a bug by gabe
Windows Insiders who have installed KB3035129 may see reports in the Settings app under Update & recovery that a new preview build is available. Attempts to download the new build result in Error 0x80246017. KB3035129 included a code change which unintentionally had the side effect of changing targeting for builds, allowing builds that are exclusive to Microsoft employees to appear available. No new builds are available which are newer than 9926 at this point. We will issue another update shortly to correct the issue and ensure that Windows Insiders are able to successfully get the next build which is made available to you. the cmd is there because it is an debug version just minimize it no problem But to revert it you have to deinstall first and delete all of the tasks in Part 2 step 5
