so just finished updates and found a new amd driver 14.201.1008.1002 but it's just a old one with a new compile date wtf
That was the conundrum I was facing.. the whole alpha/beta/milestone thing ... the latest released build doesn't have an M1,M2 etc it's just has " J_" - but then this version is a "lifetime" release so who knows...

New notifications tray icon appears to be replacing the charms bar and is a wide white strip here, that is huge, opaque and non resizable. There is now a settings icon in win 10 and resizable appz, the boyz figured it out . Any GUI is fine. Resizable window/icons, color, opacity would be kQQl on the notifications task icon, a little more to the GUI would be great for us desktop guys. Would be nice if they would let the desktop work horses know they are not forgotten. Power button now highlights selections in start menu but I can't seem to pick resize. Understand it is a work in process In settings; does clicking system twice (may take a few times) crash or minimize for others? Windows10_TechnicalPreview_x64_EN-US_9926 _ 6A95316728299D95249A29FBEB9676DED23B8BEB and previous. Sry if it has been said already, appears January went viral. Regards
On my machine, it's dated 1/30/2015 "This driver was provided by Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. for support of AMD Radeon HD 6450." Installed fine - the screen went black for a second, and all's well, no reboot.
Got the same update, however after reboot AMD Catalyst Control Center does not work as I expected. Was able to manually start the AMD CCC from the start menu. After starting and reboot it starts normally. Gonna compare the drivers to the 14.12 Omega from November. Update. All the drivers are an older version the official WHQL Omega 14.2 released by AMD on Nov. 20 Omega Version Info: Build Info: DriverVer=11/20/2014, 14.501.1003.0000 Catalyst: 14.12 Omega CCC: 2014.1120.2123.38423 D3D: 9.14.10.01080 OGL: 6.14.10.13283 OCL 2.0: 10.0.1642.5 Mantle: 9.1.10.0045 Mantle API: 98304 Sign Date: December 2 (Microsoft WHQL) Windows UPdate versions: Driver Packaging Version14.201.1008.1002-150128a-174946E-ATI ProviderAdvanced Micro Devices, Inc. 2D Driver Version8.01.01.1407 Direct3D Version9.14.10.01044 OpenGL Version6.14.10.12968 Mantle Version9.1.10.0020 AMD Catalyst Control Center Version2015.0128.1614.29170 Also the MS Win Update does not have the mantle API in it either. Update 2: The Windows Update we just received is actually the 14.6/7 released in July/August 2014. Just saying, as it will only contain game profiles that had been added up until that point.
Grr what a PITA it has been to fix the above mentioned driver to the correct version. I am not sure it will stick on a reboot. To me this is a huge issue in the Win 10 TP with device driver install. I got it fixed and then plugged in my network and the damn thing installed the old drivers again. After that I did a device driver rollback and it seems to be not updating. A bit leery of restarting.
Installed fine here too but I don't want that driver had to reinstall amd-catalyst-omega-14.12-with-dotnet45-win8.1-64bit again
Check your drivers as my Win 10 TP kept reinstalling the drivers it wanted over the Omega 14.12 ones.
i dont know were people are saying theirs a new build 9933 but this is all the update site is giving me.
