I only had 1, right click it / properties / check hidden and press ok. Gone after a refresh on the desktop, hope this helps. :)

More functionality will come in next builds. As for now, you could try set reminders, ask when your favorite team is playing or just have a small chat with her: let her to tell you a joke, or maybe ask here if she loves you. :D

We pizz and moan waiting for new version/build/whatever of Windows. When it arrives we start tearing it apart looking for ways to make it look like the old version/build.

Some of you people are nuts...

Yeah, after all the moaning about Windows 8, where have all these Windows 8 'lovers' come from.

Personally I don't care which version I have, I just like something to play with

Remove your DVD and goto Settings -> Update and Recovery -> Recovery
Then under 'Advanced Startup' click the 'Restart Now' button.
You should the 'Startup Settings' once it reboots. ;)

    Absolutely true. LOL
Me, myself wanna watch closely the progress and let MS do their thing. I have resisted the urge to touch the registry so far. :tea:

Thank you. We have succeeded and when I confirmed the number 4 Enable Safe Mode (photo1), I get a blank screen photo2. What do I wrong?

Personally I want new builds to see if they "improved" im not loving nor hating anything so far, I always dislike Windows 8 but I used Windows 8.1 as it was an improvement and never felt rubbish and bastardized... even though some elements didnt fit, aero removed, some parts are metro and some is not.. and the fact start menu should have been an update..:g:

is it just me or idle ram usage is slightly higher than W8.1 ?

    Capture.PNG

with same apps or more on W8.1 the idle memory usage about 900-1100MB

    It is.

There are some new backgound applications running that weren't in Windows 8.1 which results in a higher RAM usage.
But PC's now a days have enough RAM and otherwise, Windows does have an excellent memory management, so don't worry.

As well remember that this is a Technical Preview, so things could change.

Hello guys. I upgraded from Win7 x64 to Win10TP and have 3 questions:
    1) Does anyone have issues with reboot? Once per 3-4 times windows hangs in between pre-boot state and log-in screen. I'm pretty sure it is caused by Bitdefender IS 2015 which is just incompatible - once per few updates it tells me that reboot is needed to replace files and apply update. Then at next reboot OS hangs - circle is spinning, disk is in idle (even caps-lock is not working). Also active virus control and some other minor functions are not working.

    2) Am I the only one who deleted all 4 adobe flash player folders and set permissions to deny all actions for everyone?

    3) Is there any Anti-virus software ready for Win10TP? By ready I mean it doesn't create and big issues but may not work 100% correctly.

Many issues appear from upgrade that is the reason I avoid to upgrade Windows. With upgrade the new Windows installation can have many registry from the old Windows, many issues can be from there,I mean the old registry with problems or with wrong instructions, large registry and so on...
