You're right. I didn't noticed that new Photos App is built in. Although, I didn't experienced any issues with it too. If you did an update, not a clean install, then this could explain why you experience problems. In this case, clean install should fix these issues. But if you did a clean install and have these issues, then I don't know what you could do. Maybe next build will include a fix.
In the past week I have twice gotten a BSOD with the error code 0xc000021a on my Sager NP7378. Was wondering if anyone else has experienced this? Hasn't happened on my Sandy Bridge desktop yet. During normal usage my background will change to a solid color and I can only see the windows I have open, within a few minutes of this happening the BSOD happens and I have to restart. Everything else seems normal besides this issue.

Gedosato is working perfectly, haven't bothered with DSR since it looks worse than Gedosato's lanczos and it doesn't work with custom resolutions.

I expect a new insider build in about 7-10 days - previous versions were released about every 20 builds or so.
