They don't actually have Spartan, they're just testing using the improved Trident engine in 9926, which is basically the same engine that will power Spartan

 

Really I could care less about how the icons look, I do not stare at the desktop a lot. For me I wonder about things like how the hell do you uninstall ONE DRIVE or at least get rid of it from the file explorer list (homegroup?). Enterprise will not use a live account, the appz store or store data elsewhere. This is for kiddies and phones again big icons on the start menu and not too many changes to the guts of the settings. A change of windows borders and other pretty things will not make business change from windows 7 for fluff and crap that you do not want users clicking on.
There is now a right click on the toolbar to get rid of some stuff now is a step in the right direction.

The link arrow icon is actually new in Windows 10. Hasn't changed much but slightly.
And I really like the new desktop icons. They are simple and not childish but colorful like the Live Tiles (using similar color tones). We can already see that Windows' UI will get less colorful with almost white or very dark greyscale tones and the colorful Tiles and new icons will stay out, creating some kind of depth.

If people want to see drop shadows, fake reflections and real life like textures on their desktop, they should visit a computer history museum.

Guys, is font rendering on windows 10 better than on windows 8.1? Has Microsoft improved the clearType ?

Does that really apply to offering 100 GB OneDrive storage capacity, looking at it from a reasonable perspective? I don't think any nation would sue Microsoft over an offer.

 

I can't download anything from Store Beta. After pressing "Install" the button just became grey and that's it. When I re-enter the page, it's offering me to install it again. Is there a way to fix it?
