ok let's begin. so after using this build for a few hours and putting it through the test's i found it to be very stable with no issues i had with 9901 and all things work great but i didnt try the new start menu as it's not my thing any more metro is better in everyway and as for apps and games all work great even bf4
Have you been able to adjust your window size with vmware? Bah..forgot to quote the person I was asking that of.
Meh that build is way to glitchy & ugly, had to return to 8.1, luckily you can just return to previous version in settings. Guess i'll wait a lot longer, but i guess they will get a lot of negative feedback for this build, especially as the design seems to be all over the place and it really isn't pretty at all.
Well, at least it is fast..really fast even in VMWare and it even installs fast. (Maybe that's because a lot of it is missing)
People will always complain, everyone was dying to get a new build, they are clearly hinting that more builds are coming after 9926, just wait or dont install and complain, try to contribute, and it doesn't look that bad honestly, I've yet to try it, but I see complaints on everything...
If you go to "services.msc" and try to change a service, for example Application Identity, from "manual" to "auto start", you can not, because it says BS like "you don't have access/privilege/permission" to change. I logged in as Admin, so WTF does MS mean? This same thing happened in previous builds, I am surprised no one complained before. Over all these builds, devs at MS did not change a thing. Shame. Try it for yourself and see. Very annoying bug (most likely a bug). I restored my OS to Win8.1.. Edit: this is with the Enterprise version of this build.
Exactly, just stop complaining. Don't install if you don't like bugs which may occur simple as. It's expected, not every build is stable. I've heard of builds so unstable they corrupt the HDD. Critical indeed.
After installation if I plug in my Ethernet it cause a BSOD. It says it's caused by the Intel network driver.
thanks nexus76 and Espionage724. Yes it does look like you need system privilege in order to change the properties of services. It does not make sense to me why MS is so stupid to set it this way. Anyway I deleted this stupid POS from my computer and went back to Win81. Thanks again.
Can anyone check if GTA San Andreas works in this build ? Because in previous build I couldn't run it, also "compatiblity" option was missing from the properties so I couldn't change it on "Windows 95 compatiblity mode" (this is how San Andreas works in Windows 7), my little brother is so much addicted with that game, so he won't let me upgrade windows 7 to windows 10 technical preview just because of this issue!
