Could someone be kind and make a Windows 10 Build 9926 ISO with all the latest updates integrated Please?
I like the semi see-through trash can in 9926 - even more see-through would be my choice. I like transparent task/title bars too. @ orlaf - welcome to MDL, glad to see you have a sense of humor - you'll need it here...
I prefer a more consistent UI, in windows 8.1 for example, modern and desktop style aren't not a one thing, and this generate a bit if confusion IMHO, especially if old Vista theme is still present P.S = Thanks
Yes - Vista Ultimate, with the flowing/babbling brook desk top - I remember it well. The more I look at that trash can, the more I agree with you - it sucks. Let's get away from this politically correct crap and not call it a RECYCLE BIN, but call it was it is THE TRASH CAN - transparent when empty, semi-transparent when not empty - We don't need no stinkin' recycle arrows...
Now i think that modern style will cover all part of system, and not only start menù and control panel. Hope in better april or march build.
Pretty much the same as you, I have to reboot often as theres a few folders on my network that 9926 keeps 'forgetting' it has permissions for. And when I reboot I get almost all un-cleared notifications back again. Beats Audio is the worse telling me when I've plugged in and unplugged my headphones (as if I hadn't realised what I'd just done ) and then repeats the notifications every 30 mins or so till cancelled. Yep, me to... 60/70% CPU unitisation just to run the desktop. It was nice though. OK, US to UK translator just went nuts over the bin thing, I do like that idea about the transparency relating bin use. The best thing about all the 'Modern' styling in Windows 8.x and 10. Is that in a few years it will be 'Old Fashioned' so we might get something decent again with Windows 11.
Settings - Element not found error! so I just tried to change my PIN in user accounts so I could lend my sis my laptop few days, it appeared to have allowed me to change it. However, after restarting it wasn't accepting the new PIN, only my old PIN so now when I go into User settings and click 'Make changes to my account in PC settings' I get an 'Element not found' error. Cannot even run Windows Update or anything. How can I fix this? Would an inplace reinstall work maybe? I'm pretty stuck at this point. Actually, forget about inplace reinstall, Windows 10 TP setup gets as far as 'Getting updates ' checking for updates' and goes 'Modern setup host has stopped working'
For now the massive work proceed underhood (kernel, various library included dx12, and other correlated things), but i think that will can have something before Windows 11
I can't use Powerpoint Preview. Error "This app can't open Check the store..." I first couldn't download apps from Store (beta) then I found out I have to set local Format to English (United States). Still sometimes downloads doesn't begin. Now I have this problem.
