I have a bad foreboding about next build release, at this point i think that will be delayed at least to middle march
This is seriously stupid. All just a publicity stunt. Things like this is what will give Windows 10 a bad name to some uninformed people. just my 2cents.
Is there anyway to disable driver auto updates through windows update? i tried the old way but it didnt work i really hate AMD and their s**tty drivers , everytime i update to the new driver it breaks skype it wont even lunch
Been using this build for a while, and I like it a lot, but since some days ago the new Start menu died out of the blue. When I click on the Windows flag or press the Windows key, it just doesn't pop up. I tried removing all the updates and reinstalling display drivers. It just doesn't work. Also Metro apps start and close immediately after opening them. Reinstalling them doesn't work either. Can somebody help me? I'd like to not revert to the Windows 8.1 start menu if possible. I've also refreshed Windows to fix these issues, and it got fixed... until it just happened again. Thanks in advance.
yeah I had same kinda stuff happen, I had to restart and then it worked such as the start menu, go figure, I dunno
no thats very untrue microsoft has been modding amd drivers to work with windows 10 i asked amd about the 15.200 driver microsoft provided and amd said not to use it that they had nothing to do with it
Copy and past the command below to PowerShell as an administrator. Code: Get-AppxPackage | % { Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppxManifest.xml" -verbose } ]
If that's true then AMD are the exception. Creative, HP and Nvidia have all taken legal action against 3rd party dev's for producing drivers for their intellectual property (Hardware) and won those cases. But none of them could stop Microsoft from shipping drivers for those devices in Windows, because the drivers MS were/are using came from the original manufactures. I can't remember what the Creative case was about, the HP one was for 3Com devices and Nvidia was about 3DFX devices. All of which still have drivers in Windows 10.
