Guys here is a funny thing, all this time I thought my PC was slow, and then I checked the battery icon and the performance mode, it turns out power saver was on which slowed down my PC... I turned balance on isntead and its very very fast now! wow how dumb, why would anyone hide this option...eh...
After every restart I get notification that Updates were successful. I only updated once, about 4 restarts ago.........
Code: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsUpdate\UX] "IsConvergedUpdateStackEnabled"=dword:00000000 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsUpdate\UX\Settings] "UxOption"=dword:00000000 at least you can try it
I don't like seeing people scream for a new build, and then complain like little girls with their candy stolen from them. It is running very fast for me on 5 year old hardware. Yes, it is as ugly as sin, but oh well I did not install it for its looks. I installed it so I could test it and help Microsoft work on it some more. The ONLY reason to install this Preview if for testing it and offering your feedback to Microsoft. How the hell can they fix your issues if you go and uninstall it right away and storm off like a Child? Does not get any more brain dead stupid then that. These are Tech Previews, you are supposed to be grown up mature adult Techs helping them get this OS right, not cry babies screaming for your lollipop. Reading this thread makes me feel like I just visited a Childs Day Care forum.
Just need some driver support for it now, along with something that can actually use the new DX level
OMG!!!! Even road signs look better than these new flat icons! Windows 95 compared to this flat s**t was full of glamour I'm pretty sure that under the hood there is some really impressive stuff, but come on... how can they give people something so ugly to watch day by day. The next big thing will be monochromatic square icons with dot patterns to distinguish one from the other
boohoo, the searchbar embedded in the menu is a little bit scary stating "search the web and windows", sounds monolitic. a combination of any search which leads into the web, uhm ... think for yourself. also it fades in layering over the dock icons
Driver tip; the new Windows Update will automatically download device drivers, regardless of your consent, and you can't (seem) to stop it via the interface. So if anything, install your drivers first, and then run Windows Update.
I never once 'screamed' for a new build. Go ahead and search for one time that I have and show it to me. I have now reinstalled Windows 7. Prob not going to install another Windows 10 TP, CP, RC, RTM. I'm done with it. The fanboys and enthusiasts can have it.
